Owner & Brewer - Cohesion Brewing Company
Inspired by the beer and pub traditions of the Czech Republic, Eric founded a brewery with his wife, Lisa, focused exclusively on producing Czech style lagers in Denver in 2021. He has been brewing beer professionally since 2010, and is also a certified beer judge. Eric has worked at a number of different breweries from small pub style breweries to larger production breweries, and will bring insights with a background technical brewing knowledge to this trip.
With extensive experience traveling to Czech Republic over several trips he has developed a deep appreciation for the beer culture and is excited to share that love with those who are traveling with us.

I’ve called Prague and the Czech Republic home twice over the last ten years, living here from 2015–2020, and now once more having moved back to the city in the summer of 2024 after a 3.5 year stint in Denver, CO. Over the years, I’ve arranged and led beer and historical tours across not only the Czech Republic but also all over Europe.
As a self described “beer nerd,” I’ve spent countless days traveling across the continent visiting breweries and meeting with industry professionals searching for the world’s greatest brew. Of all of the great beer countries I’ve visited, Germany and Belgium included, I can confidently say that no country does brewing better than the Czech Republic. While the beer is exceptional, it can be said that Czech pub culture is equally fantastic and I’ve become a relatively well known personality within the English speaking community here in Prague when it comes to beer. You can find me popping into the many famous, and random, pubs here on a regular basis. There’s no better way to tap into Czech culture than sitting in a pub and rubbing shoulders with the locals.
